November Raffle Calendar winners
The Parents Guild is administered by a nine-member Advisory Board. There are eight elected positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, two Activities Directors, and a Parish Representative from both Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s. Elections are held each spring and terms run for two years.
All parents of children at Milford Catholic Elementary School are automatically enrolled as members of the MCES Parents Guild. The Parents Guild fosters community spirit and encourages involvement by our school families. We sponsor several extra-curricular family events throughout the school year such as the annual Halloween party and A Valentine’s Day Dance.
Current Advisory Board
Fundraising is an important function of the Parents Guild. The participation level of each family in any of the Guild-sponsored events is determined by the participation option chosen by each family during the registration process.
The Parents Guild has much to accomplish each year. We welcome new families and encourage new ideas. We extend our thanks to each and every family for the spirit of cooperation and commitment that you bring to Milford Catholic. We look forward to an exciting and successful school year.
The MCES Parents Guild Advisory Board
All parents are members of the Parents Guild and are always welcome to attend Parents Guild Advisory Board meetings. Please note that meeting dates are subject to change. If you plan to attend, please contact the Parents Guild Advisory Board President or email [email protected] to confirm the date, time, and location, or to add any item to the agenda for the next meeting.
Parent volunteers offer a huge resource and support base to the Milford Catholic school community while teaching our children the importance of participating in the larger community. The Parents Guild is very successful because of its volunteers, and we encourage all families to volunteer. Each participating family is reminded that they have made a commitment to complete a minimum of 10 volunteer hours (which is equivalent to $1200.00) and participate in the Calendar Raffle. We ask you to consider spending half of these hours volunteering to help with fundraisers or social events, which are vital to our ongoing success.
